Kami gasped at the beauty of the garden that they had walked into. A butterfly landed upon her shoulder and one landed on the outstretched hand of Edgar.

"Amazing, is it not? This creature is created from nanotechnology. Science has come a long way and has enabled many new things. Soon, we will be able to create artificial humans, but it will take a while. Even so, all the technology in the world won't bring....ah, nevermind, its not important"

Kami let the butterfly crawl onto her finger and examined it, it was very light but something about it was different now that she took the time to examine it. From a distance one would never guess that it was a nanobot.

"they are all beautiful, this place is amazing," she said rubbing the butterfly with a soft finger. She was smiling and laughing, she hadn't done this in quite a while. Edgar had somehow made a table and tea pot set appear in the corner of the garden which made her giggle. She sat so prissy and ladylike, with expertise she took her cup and held it in her hand. She had almost forgotten that she was on a mission until Edgar began to speak again.

"Let me ask you this, if your life depended on it, how far could you go? If a love one choked you until you nearly died, could you kill them?"

Kami pondered the thought and began to speak, "if my life depended on it, I am willing to go as far as it takes. How could one be called a love one if they are will to hurt me? Once they have crossed the threshold they are no longer a loved one and I will do all in my power to stop them,"

She sipped a bit of tea and placed the cup back on the table, her gaze looking over the garden.

Edgar glanced up at her momentarily before watching the tea swirl in his cup.

"We believe the creature in question has high levels of adrenaline in its system. It has taken an abandoned facility near here as its den, but that place is sealed off. It must be getting in through a shaft on the side of the building, unfortunatly, there is not way you can climb that high. The only way to open the door is to deactivate the locks. The switches that do this are located in a cave to the east, and before a frozen lake to the north. They were placed in such strange places to ensure that the facility would never be opened again, but alas, things change. If there is any additional equipment you need, this facility is fully stocked."

@Darkrai:

The light glows a soft red, then a jolt runs across the floor and through your body. It is a sharp pain, but it quickly subsides. The light on the box returns to its normal white.

"Ghhhhhaaaaaaaaah," moaned Mike in boredom, slouching on a wall.

Kami grasped two guns that sorta looked like this.


She placed them in holsters on her side. She filled her clips with different types of bullets. Some explosive, some corrosive, some regular, so electrical, some tracking, just a variety of bullets. She had an automatic clip feeder that hooked onto her gun holsters. The rest she placed inside her bottomless bag. She grabbed a sword that looked like this.


She holstered it on her back which flushed well against her back allowing for smooth maneuverability. She placed two daggers and holstered them on her legs. They looked like this.


Though it seemed that she was loaded, the weapons where incredibly light, made of a unbreakable lightweight metal, except the guns.

She pulled on her gear, which flushed up against her body, showing her curves and accentuation all the right areas. With everything equipped just right, she exited the building and headed toward the cave to the East, moving swiftly.

Sighing Satrin looked at the numbers again and then noticed something....
OH MY GOD HOW DID I NOT SEE THAT She though and almost shouted. Both of the sets had the same set of last numbers. I always seem to look for the wrong things....Or the more complicated things...But oh well, I know the code now. Satrin thought as she typed 6011832 into the number pad.

When you enter the correct numbers, the case opens. Inside is a small black, wedge-shaped device. It is covered with buttons, each one marked with a strange symbol that you do not recognise. One end of it is bare, and it looks like it can be depressed. However, when you try, nothing happens.

@Chaotempest:

The cave is very dark, and you hear a strange hissing sound from deep within. There is the occasional frozen puddle here and there. As you walk through the cave, you notice strange creatures out of the corner of your eye. There is something very peculiar about them but they quickly dart into the shadows before you can give them a better look.

Mike suddenly shuddered as a dark form rounded the corner holding two pistols and a dagger. He held a sickening grin on his face. "Sometimes you've got to make your own entertainment" said Hatache in a solemn voice. "Take up a pistol and FIGHT you coward!"

Mike obeyed, and the two walked down the hall with guns a blazing, shooting everything they saw.

Kami slowly reaches for her daggers and grasps them. She halts upon seeing creatures out of the corner of her eye.

"What the...." She started but didn't finish her sentence as she continued to move, she held the daggers closely to her, ready to react quickly should she need to.
