My friend is a nintendo fan who is a member of the gonintendo forum, he was scrolling through this and bought this to my attention.
"What we are are a brand of hardcore intellectual types. While PS3 and 360 owners just want stuff to blow up and chaos to ensue, we take a back seat a do things in a more sensible manner, with much more interesting things going on. While they can sit back, press a button and someone dies, we take our time in hardcore games, using all of the trickery of the Wiimote and Nunchuk to create a truly spectacular scene that unfolds with unrivaled beauty".
"Wii gamers do to hardcore what Simon Pegg did for slapstick, make it cool again and do it better than anyone else. The reason why we haven't got many hardcore titles is because developers need time to really get a clever game out, something that appeals to our vastly greater, creative minds. I don't want to push buttons, I want to actually do all of the movements for real, I want to go crazy with the environments and motion detection controls, it's much more interesting and hilarious. Screw buttons, they suck".
This was someone who had typed this and i thought that we may be able to get a discussion out of this or something, read this and tell me what you think.

Here is my response to this. I do own a Wii along with a 360, so I know about what I'm saying. Kinda.

Okay, so instead of moving a thumbstick and hitting buttons you move your wrist and press buttons. That's very tricky and beautiful..... right? Oh, and "just want to blow stuff up and chaos ensue", are the only types of games available for these platforms. /sarcasm

Nintendo announced they are focusing on more family-friendly titles that anyone in the average family can pickup and play. That is why you don't get hardcore titles. The developers aren't busy creating awesome hardcore titles for the Wii, they are creating games for the fan-base that Nintendo is targeting.

No! My friend was on the forum, and he found what someone had typed. So he copied and pasted it and sent it to me. I thought we could have had a discussion about this, so i posted it on here.
